The Portal
Follow The Portal is a collection of 36 works that invites viewers into a world inspired by mythology, nature, and the idea that all living things are connected. The exhibition explores themes of balance, renewal, greed, and wisdom through a series of original characters and stories, encouraging reflection on our relationship with each other and the world around us.
At the heart of this world are the Spiritual Nomads, who seek understanding through nature, art, music, and shared knowledge. Alongside them are the Reapers, who protect the balance of life and energy; the ancient fractured deities, whose broken forms remind us of the consequences of war and greed; and LUC13, a force that seeks to corrupt balance and divide what should remain connected.
Each artwork has been created using watercolour and Indian ink. This simple combination of materials allows the focus to remain on composition, storytelling, and atmosphere. The fluid qualities of watercolour sit alongside the bold permanence of ink, reflecting the themes of change, balance, and the passing of time that run throughout the exhibition.
Rather than telling a single story, Through The Portal invites each viewer to step into this imagined world and discover their own path through it, finding moments of curiosity, reflection, and connection along the way.
